Neighbourhood Watch pays special tribute to its volunteers 
 
International Volunteer Day on Friday December 5th is a special day to recognise the significant contribution volunteers make within our community.

Following Neighbourhood Watch in Western Australia celebrating 25 years in October 2007 it was considered appropriate that Neighbourhood Watch celebrate the 2008 International Volunteer Day with a special event.

In paying tribute to the efforts of its many volunteers over the past 25 years Neighbourhood Watch and its sponsor RAC Insurance Limited extended an invitation to long serving members to a morning tea held at the RAC Head Office on Tuesday 2 December 2008 where attendees were presented with a Certificate of Appreciation to mark this special occasion. 

Neighbourhood Watch and RAC Insurance are proud to have recognised the contribution of 188 volunteers that have served Neighbourhood Watch for up to 25 years.
