With the ageing of our population, the WA Seniors Awards also recognises groups and organisations providing opportunities for seniors to continue to live full, rich and satisfying lifestyles through the Active Ageing Leadership Award.
For the first time, not-for-profit community organisations have the chance to win $1,000 in prize money if their nominee is the winner of one of the individual categories - Community Achievement, Community Participation, Business Participation, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leadership, and Active Ageing Leadership.
So, if you or your community organisation knows a senior who should be recognised or know of a group or organisation who is planning and delivering programs for our ageing population, nominate them today.
Nominations close on Friday 27th July 2007.
